Clearly place your name on the outside of the box. Label each box of a multiple shipment as 1 of 2 etc.
Include your address, telephone number and arrival data inside your shipping container.
Detailed fit markings for handlebars, aerobars, seatposts are very helpful, as are any special instructions. If you include personal items (such as helmet or wetsuit-nothing too personal please!) in the box, please provide a list of those contents.
If you are not including a part of the bicycle, such as wheels or pedals, please let us know so we don’t have panic attack in the shop!

Our Techs are passionate about their work and it shows. Next time you are in the shop, grab a coffee and take a moment to watch them work. We have an open shop space so that you can do just that. Our techs are not afraid to let you see them work. They are confident in their skills and don’t mind spectators (that are not under foot).
Our standard operating procedures include details that many service departments just can’t match. For example: our standard replacement cables are slick stainless steel cables. They cost more to buy than lesser cables but they work so much better for a much longer duration. We also only use Teflon lined cable housings. Same reason. We coat inner tubes with tire talc powder before we install them. This increases the durability and performance. It is a small step that makes a difference. We stock about a dozen different chain lubes so that you can buy what you like, and we can use what you prefer when we lubricate your chain. We build a lot of wheels. We use Spoke Prep on all the spokes prior to assembly. We utilize a tensiometer on each spoke to make sure we have uniform tension and have dial gauges that tell us exactly how true the finished product is. All this to insure a quality product with unmatched durability.
And we guarantee every repair.
The basic tune up. $45 plus parts and installation.
A good tune up will keep your bike in top condition, often trouble shooting small issues before they become big issues. Your riding habits and the conditions that your bike is used in will dictate how often you should get a tune up but as a rule of thumb, road bikes should visit our spa every thousand miles and mountain bikes every few hundred miles. The other rule of thumb is that your bike should get a tune up when things start to not work the way you would like them to.
Your Basic Tune Up will include adjustment of the gears and brakes along with adjustments to the hub, headset and bottom bracket bearings. We will true your wheels, lube your chain, inflate your tires and perform a minor cleaning and polishing. We will also perform a visual safety inspection.
The charge for Super Bikes (road or tri) may be more than $45. Sorry.
The Peak Performance Tune Up. $85 plus parts and installation.
The Peak Performance Tune includes everything from the Tune Up and adds a total drivetrain cleaning. We also clean and polish the frame. This may be a good time to replace your cables and grips or handlebar tape as well. And if it been over a year since your hydraulic brakes have been bled this is a fine time for that as well (for additional cost). This terrific service should be performed annually or more often on those bikes that are used often and is designed to prolong the life of your bicycle frame and componentry.
It makes your bike work beautifully and that makes you smile.
The charge for Super Bikes may be more for this service as well.
The Total Overhaul $195.
Just like it sounds. A Total Overhaul. Your bike deserves it every now and then.
We will strip your bicycle down to the frame and lovingly clean it and all components.
We will clean and regrease/lube the hub, headset and bottom bracket bearings, the drivetrain and the brakes. We will true the wheels and adjust everything to perfection. We will replace the cables and housings and the handlebar tape (parts are additional). This is also a great time to upgrade or replace any worn or damaged parts.
If you log serious time on your bike, this service is a must.
The charge for Super Bikes will be more for the overhaul as it will take the tech considerably more time to perform the necessary services.
We work on any make or model of bicycle no matter the age or condition. Our techs have been working on bikes for decades and have probably worked on a bike like yours before. There is very little that we have not seen and serviced. Most repairs are performed in house and in a very timely manner. We strive for quick turnaround so that you are back on your bike quickly. For your convenience and for those who cannot be without their bikes we also offer repairs by appointment. Drop you bike off at the appointed hour and pick it up a little while later. Easy.
